Who are we?
We are mother and daughter duo Sarah Bishop and Kim Blount. Sarah brings her wealth of knowledge and experience as a theatre producer, director, writer and love of being on stage as well as qualifications in childcare to the team. Kimberley received a distinction in music performance from Leeds college of music, is a talented musician, choreographer and also loves to tread the boards. Sarah and Kim are also part of the production team at By The Play Theatre productions. You will find either Sarah or Kim leading all of the Little Cherries and Next Stepz sessions with the assistance of some of our very lovely and talented Next Stepz students.

Our ethos is to give all children and young people in our classes the opportunity to explore the performing arts with the biggest emphasis on fun. We pride ourselves on being friendly, accessible, affordable and tailor make all our shows and showcases to suit each individual child.
Our classes rehearse towards 2 staged shows at outside venues each year.

We are proud to offer Cherries children's musical theatre classes in the community and in a local School. Cherries classes are for children aged 4-10 years.
We also offer our highly acclaimed Next Stepz Academy teaching drama and musical theatre to young people aged 8-18, and we also offer fantastic School
holiday full day workshops too!
You might see us in the community on stage at local events or performing for charity fundraisers.

Taught to you by London based dance teacher / conservatoire student Ruby Drakes. This 2 day workshop covering a wide variety of dance genres is suitable for all ranges and all levels of ability and includes a complimentary show.
